The first step to install WordPress using our one-click installer is to login to your hosting control panel. Your login details are your domain name and the password you received by email when setting up the hosting account. If you don’t know your password, you can reset it using the “Forgotten your password?” link at the bottom of the login form.
Once we access the control panel, scroll down and you will see the CGI script library. This is where you will find all the available scripts, including WordPress.
Click on the “WordPress” icon to proceed to the installation process.
Type in the name of the directory where you want to install WordPress or leave blank if you want to install it in the web root (ie: http://www.domain.com).
Before you click on the “Install Now” button please make sure that the destination directory is empty. When a hosting account is created there is a file called
index.html in the root directory, so if you want to install WordPress in such directory please delete that file first, this can be done using the “File Manager” within the hosting control panel.
If everything goes well you should see something like this:
At this stage you need to choose the kind of installation you want and configure your new site. On-screen information is provided to guide you through the process. For up to date information about WordPress configuration visit the official WordPress Codex.
